it fits snugly without bouncing or shifting. The bottom chest clasp broke (not the plastic clasp itself, but the stitching that attaches to it became completely frayed). But customer service was very responsive and immediately replaced it with a new vest. This earns trust.

I took off one star because 2 of the elastic zipper grips that thread directly through the zipper are prone to coming off when washed. (This happened on both vests) The zipper design lacks a metal tab to hold onto, so if the elastic falls off, the zipper cannot be opened.

But that’s relatively minor compared to the overall strong performance of the vest while in use.

Love my 10L vest, has all the compartments and zippers or other needed to carry all your stuff during my runs. Balancing the front and back is key to keep things running along firmly and even. I run my vest 90 percent of the time any season.

had my first run out with the Haimond 8 L West. As it was my first with a west anyway I have to say it was pretty awesome. The west fits perfectly and everything stays where it should stay. No bothering no strange feelings, the run was like always, in my opinion the best compliment for a new gear.

This vest was a bit of a revelation. I've used conventional 'camel back' rigs for years. They are a great solution. But they can be too much when you want to just carry water with minimal extra. This vest is a minimalist solution. The fabric is light and breathable. Plenty of little pockets for a couple of things like keys or gels. One larger but ultralight zipped pocket on the back where you could securely store some things or stash a shell. Stretchy cord could also hold that.

Wanted this for long runs where my end point is not my start point. It can hold a clean shirt, dry shorts and a small towel in the back plus gels, phone etc in front pockets. Have done a few runs around 30 km with it and you forget you're wearing it after a while so obviously comfortable. Didn't want to spend over $100 because most of my runs I don't need it. Very happy with my decision to buy this.

This backpack is great. I bought it for a super-long day hike (25 miles in one day, 5000 feet of elevation gain) and I was so glad to have it. There are so many pockets so I could cram all my snacks and energy bars in there, it held my hiking poles when I didn’t want to use them, and held a 1.5 liter water bladder. I didn’t even feel like I was carrying anything.

I really love this running vest, it is very well made and great quality! It has so many useful compartments and pockets. They really thought of everything! There's a zippered pocket for your phone, multiple places to store water, and even a large pocket in your back to put a water bladder along with elastic to keep the water hose in place.? They added a safety whistle that is attached to the vest. While I really appreciate this added bonus, the whistle itself is not all that loud and you really have to blow hard for someone very nearby to hear it. You could always switch the whistle out for a much louder one. Another safety feature which I really do? love are the reflection stripes on the vest for visibility.? It's a very adjustable vest to fit most people and is very comfortable to wear.? I love that the arm holes are big and that the vest is shorter so it doesn't restrict your movements or get caught up in the vest while exercising. You can move very freely in it with no restrictions which I really like. This vest is perfect for any outdoor sports, whether running, biking, hiking etc. I'm very impressed and highly recommend!

Fits a 2L hydration bladder in the rear and holds all my essentials comfortably

This size is slightly larger than the standard size I usually choose for vest pack，so I opted for a size one smaller. The customer service representative was very patient during the explanation process and helped me make the right choice.

Training for my first ultra and wanted to find a hydration vest to hold all the things. This is a great design with so many pockets. The material is very comfortable and I love the purple. My only complaint is that it doesn’t adjust on the sides so my S/M is actually too big and I can’t adjust it. Looking to make some alterations myself, but I was bummed I didn’t pay attention to that detail when I purchased this specific vest.

Poore cutomer service. Iv called 8 times and left voicmails. Iv also emailed. The sizes are not true to measurments like there competitors are. I will be returning and buying off the competitors. I couldnt imagine if i needed to warranty. I will be uploading emails and proof of calls onto reddit.

Love it!!! Fits perfect and has lots of space! It’s light enough for every day runs and also big enough for spending a few days deep in the sticks! Highly recommend

Ridge 10L Hydration Vest

The vests are so light and easy to adjust. They are perfect for longer runs. I thought it would take some getting used to, but it was perfect.
I bought the 5 and 10 L hydration vests. Excited for my runs now. No bouncing and no heavy or awkward feel.

The vest so far has been good. The soft flasks that come with it do not work as well as other brands. I would have been happy without them. They also do not have a standard cap size that interchanges with other brand filters. The fit could be a bit tighter, but I haven't fully loaded the pack yet, so I suspect it will be good.
