Men's Fleece Lined Softshell Vest Full Zip Sleeveless Jacket

Aside from the warm and sturdy feel of this vest, what I liked most were the pockets, especially the phone pocket under the logo. The XL fit me as expected, but there is still room underneath to wear a flannel shirt. You could wear this by itself on a cool day and over another medium jacket or sweatshirt on a colder one. It also helps that it's water-resistant and has a collar you can zip up around your neck if it's cool. It's also attractive -- I give it a high rating based on my experience.

This vest is the perfect vest for transitioning weather like we are experiencing in PA right now in October. The styling and fabrication of this vest is similar to any high-end outdoor garment company and it justifies the price.- I ordered a medium and I am 6' tall and a slim build and it fit me perfectly. The additional length kept cold breezes from entering my back, plus you have the option of drawing in the cord if you would rather have a snug fit than a loose fit. Personal choice.- The color I received they referred to as light brown, but I would refer to it as a deep mustard. Similar to a Carhart color. The color has a richness to it and is one of my favorites because it goes with almost anything.- The vest is a nice weight, not too bulky and not too thin. The polar fleece liner is only on your backside and the outer material wraps around to the left and right inside.- The fabric itself has almost a rubbery feel to it. Not so sure that is the best way to describe it, but it doesn't feel like most jackets I own. They claim it is waterproof, but if I was concerned about keeping dry I would be choosing a full jacket and not a vest. Regardless, the fabric feels really good and I am sure it will hold up for years because it just feels really durable.- Pockets, pockets, and more pockets. They are everywhere on this vest and most of them are zipped to make sure your personal belongings don't come up missing when you are active. I personally like having the zipped phone pockets.There is just so much attention to detail that I can't stop saying enough positive about this vest. Yes, it is a little more expensive than most but like I said earlier the quality of the vest justifies the price. I wouldn't definitely recommend the purchase.

This is a nice vest with lots of pockets. There are three external pockets: one zipped pocket on either side of the waist, plus a zipped chest-level pocket on the left. There are also three internal pockets: one waist-level zipped pocket on the left, one waist-level with a velco closure on the right, and a zipped chest-level pocket on the left. The external chest-level pocket is a bit too small to hold a large cellphone, but the internal pockets are large enough. I wish the internal and external chest-level pockets weren't both on the same side, as I end up with more weight on my left side.The vest is well made with good quality zippers. There's an elastic cord around the waist so you can cinch it.I think this vest runs a bit large. I normally wear size XL, but I ordered XXL because I wanted to be able to wear this vest over bulky sweaters and sweatshirts. I think XL would have been large enough, and I might have even been comfortable in size large.

I haven't owned a vest for cold weather before so I wasn't sure what to expect. The vest runs true to size (US Sizes) so you don't need to do anything special when considering which size to purchase. The vest is definitely water resistant and insulates well without being too thick (it does feel a little dense, but it is not too heavy).I was impressed with the quality of this vest and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a cold weather vest!

I will start by saying I considered dropping this one star for two reasons. First, to be blunt, I think this is overpriced. and second, because it fits weird for my taste.To be fair though, the size is exactly as the measurements say in the advertisement. It's really long. I like the fit overall, but hangs down over my butt. I'm 5'8" and wear a size 40r jacket 165lbs. The medium seems to fit really well, but like I said is really long.The quality of this vest seems nice enough, but honestly I'm not convinced it is $50 nice. I suppose that for everyone to decide on their own.I do really like that there are plenty of pockets in this vest. It also seems to be resistant to light rain. Not a rain jacket, but does decent job in light rain.So, with all of that considered, I do give this five stars, but would probably make it a 4.5 stars if I could.
