Trail Running Competitions

 

Trail running races often deliver finishers sprinkled with dust or covered in mud, bruised, scratched, and almost always happy! This is because nothing comes close to running in a natural setting. While out there in the woods, on the mountain ridge or in the middle of nowhere, you have no distractions. There’s just you and the challenge.

The Pass Mountain Trail Run taken runners outside of Usery Regional Park, heading through the southern edge of Tonto National Forest and through the lesser known but awesome Goldfield Mountains as you head north. The section of the Goldfields is mostly OHV trail with some single track mixed in while traversing the scenic Bulldog Canyon- crossing over and (running) through some sandy wash areas along the way. A loving trail run to raise funds for the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center.

It’s a Charity Trail Running (60k ultramarathon) in Morocco to support the communities that were affected by the earthquake in 2023. It’s a beautiful initiative organized by www.atlashopeultra.com which is partnering with the High Atlas Foundation, the funds are going to support the Moroccan people.

Critérium Vertical Race with a distance of 2.3 km with a positive gradient of 433 m upon reaching this return point. And upon returning to the start of the race, a lap is completed (first circuit 4.6k), having a limit of 5 hours to achieve as many circuits as possible at a good pace, otherwise you can be disqualified. It's 2.3 km of pure adrenaline going up and down this brutal mountain, In the end, the accumulated positive and negative gradient in the distance achieved was somewhat enormous.

TransJeju by UTMB is the biggest ultra distance trail event on the volcanic island Jeju, South Korea Participants will run through the Hallasan National Park (UNESCO World Heritage), which is extremely diverse: at various altitudes there are more than 1,800 species of subtropical, temperate and subarctic plants flourishing on the Halla volcano (the highest mountain in South Korea) that change distinctly with four seasons, offering runners ever-changing scenery.
